Panorama Project
Pan-O-Rama Assignment
The Panorama Assignment
For this assignment, I took a picture of a street in front of a gas station to capture the widened angle of the scenery. I thought that the image when taken as a panorama would have been good because I personally believe that it told a story about society. This photo is composed of 4 separate images.
For this assignment, the students were required to take multiple pictures to get an area of a place captured. We were to use things like leading lines, bright areas, and other things to make to subject of the photo stand out to let the viewer understand the objective of the photo with just a quick glance over at the photo.
What I was trying to do was to capture the basic scenery of a food shopping district because I thought that this specific scene told a story.
For this project, I was trying my best to utilize layer masks and allowing smooth transitions between photos. It was something that I thought would be professional to use at the time. It would have to be this method (Shown Below) that made this image visually compelling along with the saturation of the sky.
The focal point of this image would be the background of the scene, where all the trees and buildings are.
The focal point of this image is the center of the image.
I felt that I have achieved what I wanted to achieve for this project to get the viewer's eyes to focus on the focal point by using some leading lines.
The problems that I am seeing in this image would most likely be the unprofessional of the layer masks. How I could have solved this problem would have been to take better photos of the scene while using a single white balance instead of auto balance.
For this project, I used the post-processing Photoshop layer masks on multiple images. I believe that taking more time and defining the layer masks could have been for the better.
